About the South Turkmen National Republic

The South Turkmen National Republic was founded to protect and celebrate Turkmen heritage while building a new future on firm foundations of independence and dignity. Our people take pride in our traditions, our culture, and our unity, and we believe that every nation has the right to define its own path.

As part of this vision, the Republic has taken responsibility for Bir Ṭawil, the unclaimed land between Egypt and Sudan. Where others have seen an empty desert, we see an opportunity to create meaning and stewardship. By formally claiming Bir Ṭawil, the South Turkmen National Republic affirms its role as a sovereign state willing to care for land that the world has otherwise ignored.

Our goal is simple: to stand as a proud Turkmen nation, to turn forgotten ground into national soil, and to show the world that the spirit of independence is alive and unshakable.
