The Government of the South Turkmen National Republic reaffirms its position that Bir Tawil is and will remain sovereign territory of the Republic. Any external declarations of control or ownership are considered null, baseless, and made without understanding of the region’s lawful status.

Several individuals and groups continue to claim Bir Tawil from abroad, often without having ever visited the territory or established any form of legitimate governance. The Republic regards such efforts as political theatre rather than serious administration. These parties are officially recognized by the government as Illegitimate Occupation Forces operating without authority or substance.

The South Turkmen National Republic exercises its claim through responsibility, continuity, and governance. Bir Tawil is not an empty piece of land to be taken by proclamation. It is a region under the stewardship of a state that respects the principles of order, accountability, and sovereign duty.
